An impact sound underlay must fulfil a wide range of requirements such as improving walking and impact sound, protecting against moisture and dynamic loads, flammability and levelling out unevenness. In addition, the thermal insulation behaviour of heated or cooled floors plays a decisive role. Impact sound underlay with an ecological and sustainable focus The '1023 Superior Sound' impact sound underlay is suitable for floating laminate and parquet flooring and fulfils all ecological and technical requirements. The underlay mat produced in Germany is resource and environmentally friendly. Only materials without questionable ingredients are used in production in order to fulfil the requirements of the Blue Angel. The products are free from plasticisers, asbestos, formaldehyde, halogens and heavy metals and fulfil the VOC guidelines for classifications A+ and the requirements of the EPLF. The applicable regulations are also taken into account with regard to subsequent disposal. Technically, the impact sound underlay with a thickness of 2.8 mm is impressive in many respects. Thanks to the impact sound reduction of up to 19 dB and the walking sound reduction of 30%, every floor is particularly quiet. The impact sound insulation is also suitable for laying over underfloor heating (thermal resistance of 0.01 m²K/W) and provides effective protection against rising damp thanks to the integrated vapour barrier. Due to the pressure load of 120 kPa, the floor and the associated click connections are relieved and the durability of the floor is increased. Thanks to the levelling capacity of 1.7 mm, minor unevenness at certain points can be evened out. The underlay mat can also be easily cut to size with a cutter knife.
