FSC / PEFC / Blue Angel

At JANGAL, we are actively committed to supporting sustainable forestry. We recognise the importance of protecting forests for our planet and future generations. That's why we source all the wood we use from responsibly managed forests. Our commitment to sustainable forestry means that we ensure that only as much wood is harvested as can grow back in the long term. This ensures the long-term conservation of forest resources and helps to maintain the ecological balance. On the one hand, there is the FSC certificate, which has a larger international focus on the market. On the other hand, there is the PEFC mark, which enjoys a particularly high reputation in Germany. There is also the Blue Angel, which is the German government's environmental label for the protection of people and the environment. The labels confirm that the wood comes from forests that are managed according to strict ecological, social and economic standards. In this way, we support the preservation of biodiversity, the protection of sensitive ecosystems and the protection of the rights of indigenous communities that are closely linked to the forests. We also help to reduce deforestation and contribute to the fight against climate change.

Various products bear one of the seals

Our acoustic panels are made from wood that comes from sustainable forestry and has been awarded the FSC certificate. Both the wood content in the MDF component of our Solid Acoustic Panels and the real wood veneers in our Smart Acoustic Panels, Solid Acoustic Panels and the Modular Wall carry this certificate. Our laminate flooring, which is based on HDF board technology, is PEFC or FSC certified, depending on the product group. The wood chips that are pressed into HDF boards, as well as our wooden floors, come from local timber and certified sustainable forestry. After transport, the bark is removed from the tree at the manufacturing plant and it is chipped. These chips are used to produce the base material for our authentic wooden floors - all with wood as the raw material. This is certified by the above-mentioned seals. JANGAL laminate flooring is all about naturalness, as it is made from the renewable raw material wood and environmentally friendly melamine resin. The wood fibre boards are made from timber from local forests and wood waste from the sawmill industry, which improves the ecological balance. The floors are PEFC or FSC-certified and have been awarded the Blue Angel label. Elaborate use of technology enables an authentic design. In addition, all laminates are suitable for underfloor heating and allergy sufferers, robust and easy to clean. Installation can be carried out by yourself thanks to the click system. The floors are available in thicknesses of 7 - 12 mm. We are proud that we can help promote sustainable forestry and have a positive impact on the environment. By promoting the responsible use of wood, we can ensure that our products are not only of high quality, but also represent a step towards a more sustainable future..
