Taking responsibility by using recycled PET

Recycled  PET

PET is known to many as a material for drinks bottles. For the most part, these are disposable PET bottles which, as we all know, end up in the deposit machines. But does it really have to be the end? Currently, only four per cent of PET is recycled worldwide, although it offers great potential for the creation of new products. The textile industry is a pioneer here and uses recycled PET to make new products. The recycling process is mechanised and involves shredding the bottles into flakes, which are then processed into granulate or fibres. New products can be created from these raw materials, either entirely from recycled material or in combination with new raw materials. Our acoustic panels are made from recycled PET and bring this material into the renovation and decoration industry.

Positive effects through the reduction of plastic waste

At JANGAL, we are passionate and committed to a cause that is close to our hearts: protecting our environment. At a time when up to 12 million tonnes of plastic waste end up in our oceans every year, we feel obliged to make a positive contribution.

We have recognised that we as a company can play an important role in reducing plastic waste and at the same time reducing our carbon footprint. That's why we decided to use recycled PET for the production of our acoustic felt. By using recycled plastic, we can not only help to reduce the amount of plastic waste, but also reduce the need for new raw materials.

We are proud that we can actively contribute to reducing the impact of plastic waste and protecting the environment. By using recycled PET for our acoustic felt, we can create a cycle in which plastic waste is recycled and given a new purpose. This is an important step on our way to a more sustainable future.
